Timetable

Learning is fun and enjoyable. Teachers guide the children individually and they are enthusiastic to learn more!

Timetable

Children can arrive at school between 8.30 and 9.00am. This allows teachers to welcome children individually as they arrive and the opportunity for parents to talk to their child's teacher. Lessons begin at 9.00 am and finish at 3.30 pm from Monday to Friday.
On Wednesday school finishes at 12.00 pm. Before and after school care can be arranged upon request at € 3.00 per half hour.

Break time

All children play outside during the morning break (10.30 - 11.00) and lunch break (approx. 12.15 - 13.15). During this time they can play with sport equipment, play on our grass area, dig in the sandpit, or explore in our little forest! There are two covered areas outside which allow the children to go outside and get some fresh air and play, even during wet weather. It is important to ensure that children wear suitable clothes for outdoor play throughout the year. This includes items such as a warm coat, rain coat, hat or a cap, gloves or mittens and a scarf.

Sleep time

After lunch, there is a sleep time provided for Lower Pre-Primary children. The length of sleep time depends on the individual child’s needs.

Holidays

All holidays are highlighted in green on the school calender. ISG follows the Belgian holiday calender with four major holidays, i.e. Autumn Holidays, Christmas Holidays, Half Term Holidays and Easter Holidays. If pupils are absent for a long time outside these holidays, we ask parents to complete the Holiday or Leave of Absence Request Form (two weeks before the start of the absence).
